The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to release the results for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2025. Candidates who took this exam on April 13, 2025, can check their results on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
Those who pass the written exam will be called for a five-day SSB interview, where their personality, skills, and fitness for military service will be evaluated. This interview includes personal interviews, psychological tests, and group activities.
This year, the UPSC plans to fill a total of 406 vacancies in the NDA and NA.
How to Check Your Result
To check your NDA and NA exam results, follow these steps:
1. Go to the official UPSC website: [upsc.gov.in](http://upsc.gov.in).
2. Click on the “Examinations Section” link.
3. Select the link for “National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2025.”
4. A PDF file will appear on the screen.
5. Download the file and check for your roll number.
Marking Scheme
The NDA written exam consists of two parts: Mathematics and the General Ability Test (GAT).
Mathematics:
– 120 questions worth a total of 300 marks.
– 0.83 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
General Ability Test (GAT):
– Total of 600 marks, with 200 marks for English and 400 marks for General Knowledge.
– 150 questions total: 50 from English and 100 from General Knowledge.
– 1.33 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
