Actor Shreyas Talpade Sharing a note on Instagram, he also slammed trolls for hurting sentiments and ‘playing with the emotions’ of his family about his death rumors, assuring fans that he is alive.
Amid the rumor of his death being circulated vigorously on Facebook, the 37-year-old actor found himself confronting what is surely any public figure’s worst nightmare: a death hoax. Unfounded as it was, the unfounded claim deeply distressed his fans and caused their families great pain.
Attacking the party that had taken the trouble of disseminating lies on such a large scale throughout social media may have been the only just and natural act for Talpade. He also expressed sympathy for his shocked and appalled daughter, who was made anxious and living in fear as a result of it.
In his long statement on social media, the actor pointed out that trolls’ irresponsible actions had brought his family into an emotional frenzy. He urged people to have empathy and think of consequences in order not to help hurtful fake news to spread.
