John Landau, the Oscar-winning producer of Titanic and Avatar, has died. He was 63 years old. The cause of death has not yet been released.

Three of the four highest-grossing films in the world have been produced by John Lando. John Lando gave the world great films through his collaboration with director James Cameron.

James Cameron said John Landau was a good friend and a part of his life.

“His wry sense of humor, personal charm and fervor will remain at the center of our Avatar universe for nearly two decades. His legacy is not just the films he made, but the personal example he set.” That’s what James Cameron said while talking to the Associated Press.
