Filmmaker Rohit Shetty shares insights into the challenges of hosting the reality stunt show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Rohit Shetty, known for his high-octane action films, has been successfully hosting the reality stunt show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, for several seasons. In a recent interview, he opened up about the demanding nature of the show.
Unlike traditional reality shows filmed in studios, Khatron Ke Khiladi is a grueling 45-50 day shoot, akin to making a feature film. With contestants performing 60-80 stunts, the show’s production faces numerous challenges, including unpredictable weather conditions.
Shetty admitted to feeling anxious when he first took over the hosting duties from Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. However, the overwhelming audience response has been a source of immense gratitude for him.
The filmmaker emphasized the physical and mental demands of the show, stating that no stunt is easy, despite rigorous training.
Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14 is set to premiere on Colors TV, featuring a new batch of contestants ready to conquer their fears.
