Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025: Catalyzing Innovation and Connecting Ecosystems

Hyderabad – The Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025 kicked off today at the Zaheer Memorial School Ground, hosted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). This exciting two-day event promises to be a significant platform for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within India’s vibrant research and technology landscape.

The conclave was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Honorable Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, who emphasized the importance of nurturing a startup ecosystem in India, echoing the sentiment of the government’s Startup India, Standup India initiative. “We are committed to cultivating innovation that addresses the real needs of our society,” Dr. Singh remarked.

Dr. Srinivasa Reddy, Director of CSIR IICT, noted during the event that this gathering aims not only to promote innovation but also to showcase startups and technologies developed by the three CSIR laboratories based in Hyderabad. He expressed hope that young attendees would draw inspiration from these exhibitors and forge their own entrepreneurial paths.

In attendance were notable figures from various sectors, including entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and researchers, all eager to network and explore collaborative opportunities. The event included engaging keynote sessions from eminent scientists and policymakers, alongside panel discussions on emerging technologies and the commercialization of research and development (R&D).

Dr. Vinay Nandicoori, Director of CSIR CCMB, highlighted the importance of the conclave by stating, “We want to shine a light on deep tech startups in Hyderabad that are collaborating with our labs. They play crucial roles across healthcare, chemical, and geophysical sectors.”

The exhibition pavilion, a highlight of the event, showcases cutting-edge solutions from both established institutions and innovative startups. Attendees are already buzzing with excitement as they explore the latest advancements and technologies aimed at addressing significant challenges, such as earthquake hazards and sustainable resource management.

The event will continue into tomorrow, with special addresses, including one from Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, the Director General of CSIR, and the presence of several honorable guests, including Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy.
